What is the principle of the static eliminator?

Static eliminator can produce a large number of positive and negative charges with the airflow, the positive and negative charges in the airflow can be neutralised on the target object charged; when the object surface is negatively charged, it will attract the positive charge in the airflow, when the object surface is positively charged, it will attract the negative charge in the airflow; thus the static electricity on the surface of the object is neutralised to eliminate the static electricity purpose.
