Laser Scanner-theory

What is the principle of a laser scanner?

Laser scanner measurement principle: laser transmitter sends out laser pulse wave, when the laser wave touches the object, part of the energy returns, when the laser receiver receives the returning laser wave, and the energy of the returning wave is enough to trigger the threshold value, the laser scanner calculates the distance value from it to the object; the laser scanner continuously emits the laser pulse wave, which strikes the high-speed rotating mirror, and then emits the laser pulse wave in all directions, thus forming a two-dimensional area for scanning. The laser scanner continuously emits laser pulse waves, which hit the high-speed rotating mirror, and emit the laser pulse waves in all directions to form a two-dimensional area. The scanning of this two-dimensional area can achieve the following two functions: 1). Within the scanning range of the scanner, different shapes of protective zones are set up, and when an object enters the zone, an alarm signal is issued; 2). Within the scanning range of the scanner, the scanner outputs the distance of each measurement point, according to this distance information, the outer contour of the object can be calculated, coordinate positioning and so on.
